IMPORTANT: These policies ONLY applies to the Free Builders Union and it's owned platforms. NOT to Free Build, or FBBC's owned platforms.
Upon using, registering, or joining any of Free Builders Union's owned platforms, you're automatically required to follow our following policies ("Community Terms" & "Moderation Policy") as presented to the you upon the entry to our platforms "as-is".
Any violations or attempts against the policies will result in moderation actions to be used against you at the staff's reasonable discretion.
Necessary changes to our policies from time-to-time are required to be done inorder to reflect the on-going changes to our platforms, our users’ needs and our priorities. We'll only give you reasonable notices of any major changes.
Ability to make changes without notice.
The Free Builders Union may change, modify, add, or delete portions of the policy at any given time it may wish and without further announcements if not considered reasonably necessary to do so.
Your responsibilities and acceptance.
It is 100% your responsibility to check the policies regularly inorder to determine if there had been a change that will affect your abilities to continue using our platforms going forward.
Please be aware that by continuing to use our platforms after the effective date of the updated policies will automatically constitute your acceptance of new set policies.
To ensure everyone is comfortable, we want to ensure that adult-related or inappropriate content is kept away. As people from varying ages may not feel the same way as you are.
1.1) No sexual/pornographic content allowed.
Includes sexual, dating, 18+ content, references, and vilely disgusting materials related to such.
Includes real life/non-fictional materials, due to the graphical natures of such.
1.2) Excludes certain contents.
Fictional historical subjects that may include inappropriate scenes. However, the rule does not exclude extreme inappropriate stuff, and all content relating to historical subjects must be reasonable.
Fictional violence, blood and gore, and strong/offensive language usages in specific materials.
We would like everyone to communicate appropriately atleast in one language that can be best understood by the majority including staff primarily for situations where communication is necessary.
2.1) No distorted/encrypted languages.
Includes using websites to encrypt/decrypt messages and passing it onto other members to bypass any form of this written policy.
2.2) Not recommending languages other than English.
We will however allow different languages other than English to be used under some special circumstances but English is primary on all of our platforms.
2.3) Only use profanity when necessary.
Allowed, if used in a reasonable context.
Attacking members directly using profanity is not allowed.
This policy is primarily in-place to ensure a fair guarantee to those that who do follow the rules to have their rights justified on those who violates and loophole the rules. This all ensures an equal balance approach for everyone.
3.1) No challenging and lawyering over missing rules.
If there are loopholes in our rules, the staff team will moderate based on what they deem appropriately reasonable as they always holds final say. Our team is trained to take on these matters.
If there is a missing part or rule, we will revise it immediately without the requirement of a given notice.
3.2) No bypassing or destroying our moderation's capabilities.
Applies to our AI bot, and Discord's AutoMod bot.
Creating alt accounts to bypass violations of our platform's policies.
Includes using virtual private networks (VPNs) to access our platforms if previously banned.
3.2) Legal actions over damages.
We may seek necessary legal actions if the damages significantly outweighs our abilities to recover.
All legal actions are sent to the person in-question within a 90 days notice to act.
Our platforms as a service offered to you, must be used appropriately within reasonable limits and any damages caused results in us needing to cleanup & fix resulting in disruptions that affects others' abilities to use our platforms.
4.1) No destruction of Union-owned assets over any given reason.
Includes our all of our owned platforms and community hosted build events in-game.
Includes raiding & mass-spamming on our owned platforms.
If you've committed such violation, you will be blacklisted from our organization indefinitely.
4.2) No serious harassments of members & staff both off and on platforms.
You must not go after members & staff on our platforms to seriously harm via threats, hostility, mentally, and online safety. If you do so, your ban is unappealable and are blacklisted from all of our services for community safety, as we take this type of behavior very seriously.
Excludes criticism and opinions, if no serious threats are made against anyone's online safety within our organization.
4.3) No usages of extensions & exploits to mess with the internals of our platforms.
Includes using Vencord or BetterDiscord, and etc for any given reason.
Includes hacking or DDOSing our platforms for any given reason.
4.4) No posting suspicious links or the use of unauthorized bots.
Includes IP loggers and uploading malware/viruses with the intent to spread it within our platforms.
Includes using unapproved self-bots or automated scripts not yet reviewed by our staff team.
To ensure we protect and make sure that nobody's hurt and feels safe in our community, we have a set of rules inorder to highlight reasonable restrictions on particular behaviors that are considered harassment.
5.1) Don't dox any members for any given reason.
You will get banned and the ban is unappealable, and you will be immediately be blacklisted from our platforms for community safety. Along with a report to Discord if done so on our server.
5.2) Don't start any form of hate/bad behavior against members.
Includes arguments or fights, it's suggested to be brought off of our platforms.
Includes dragging or encouraging members into such behaviors will not be allowed.
5.3) Respect the privacy of members.
Don't share personal information about yourself or others, this includes addresses, phone numbers, and other sensitive data for any given reason.
Exceptions for those who have only consented to such. But, consider the public's use of your personal information if you so-choose to share it on our platforms. We hold no responsibility after you've consented to do so.
5.4) Respect the staff team.
They are mostly volunteers who do their very best inorder to commit themselves to the community's success, so please help us and we will help you back and we aren't perfect.
Comply with what is being said and asked and if you ever disagree with it, you can always appeal it in our Moderation Policy.
5.5) Don't ping or message members unnecessarily.
Discussions could also be done through user DMs or the message wall.
Includes pinging or messaging the staff team for unnecessary reasons.
Excludes if the member does not respond back after a long time or if the member is fine with being pinged, but if they aren't then please keep this in-mind.
Although, our organization allows free advertising and at most times little restrictions. We still have to enforce some small restrictions to ensure that we have some reasonable limits on what is being advertised on our platforms.
6.1) Partnerships & alliances.
You must contact staff with regards to such matter, these are advertisements done by our organization on your behalfs. Usually both parties must agree with the deal before it can occur.
6.2) No advertising materials associated with banned members.
Ensures that those who are banned from our platforms cannot continue to advertise inorder to achieve one's benefit via other communication methods.
This section heavily applies to members who are both part of the Free Build Building Club's and the Free Builders Union's platforms, and pretty much exists inorder to restrict dual-members inorder to make it fair for Union members to access our platforms more.
7.1) Required contributions
If you are a dual-member of both servers, you are expected to contribute to both servers equally inorder to prove to us that you can be eligible for the following or if not limited to:
Our organization's hosted events
Special ranks or positions
Trust level with in-game perms for community projects
If you wish to work for the organization
